Jamie Oliver

Jamie Does...Marrakech
Channel 4 9pm

And so the Jamie Oliver bandwagon rolls on. The days of a simple cookery show long behind him, this series sees him travel Europe and Northern Africa to experience the food and culture. He's come along way from The Naked Chef.

QI
BBC2 10pm

As with Have I Got News For You, QI approaches each new series with an 'it 'ain't broke' ethos and to be honest, they're not wrong. Tonight sees Dara O'Brien and David Mitchell join the fun.

Waterloo Road
BBC1 8pm

Often overlooked and simply viewed as an extended soap opera, this school drama has tackled some pretty major topics in its time. Perhaps another series is pushing it a little but definitely worth a look.

Glee
TV3 8pm

Go on, you know you've missed it. We'll probably get tired of this one day but not yet.

Film

Music and Lyrics
RTE1 9.35pm

Never one to knowingly play against type, Hugh Grant stars in - yes, you guessed it - a romantic comedy about a washed up pop star who has to write a song for a new teenage sensation, despite having no musical talent whatsoever. Until, that is, he meets Drew Barrymore etc etc. On his day Grant is excellent but this kind of stuff does nothing to enhance his status.
