Gig of the Day: Two Door Cinema Club, Galway Róisin Dubh

The buzz surrounding Bangor trio Two Door Cinema Club has been pretty intense, sparked mostly by the fact they were snapped up by in vogue French label Kitsuné Music. Once that happened, the blogosphere duly took note and every development in the recording of their Tourist History album was duly noted. Along the way, the also found themselves being tipped for great things by being longlisted for the BBC's 'Sound of 2010'.
Tourist History has just been released and it turns out that it's filled with excellent upbeat, dancefloor-friendly indie-pop songs. A busy summer of festival appearances and foreign tours awaits the band but before that, they're embarking of a series of Irish shows which includes tonight's much-anticipated appearance at the Róisin Dubh.
