Gig of the Day: Air - Dublin Olympia

Blissed-out French electronica duo Air have been making music together since 1995, although it wasn't for another three years that they really began to turn heads with the release of their debut LP,Moon Safari. That album has since become a modern classic and spawned alternative anthems in 'Sexy Boy' and 'Kelly Watch the Stars'. Since then, they've recorded a further six long-players, as well as composing the score to the Francis Ford Coppola film, The Virgin Suicides. Their latest effort, Love 2, was released last October amid much expectation and anticipation, generally earning positive reviews from the critics.
Tonight's concert at the Olympia is the second of two shows Monsieurs Dunkel and Godin will play at the Dublin venue as part of their current tour.
